As for "regular work" with all the stress I have hit a little bit of a dry spell. Its hard to be creative under so much stress, and I did just wrap up a couple of deadlines that I can share soon so my well is a bit empty. Creativity waxes and wains, so I'm not worried about it and the smaugust challenge might be just the ticket to get things flowing again. For the next week Ill be working on the coffee table book files and formatting to get things ready for the final push there, then I have the children's book next on the list. I was able to hire an editor right before we evacuated out and the manuscript is now finished and ready for blocking images. Over the last year I have pitched the Little Wings to several companies...6 or 7, and all have the same feed back: Its just not far enough along yet. SO before I start pushing it again ill get the book done. I do have someone who I would like to work on more plush (or a re-release of previous plush), so that is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I even have the plot line for the next book figured out. Feeling a bit like Dory right now...
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming!
